"Step Right Up! Get Your Thank You Here!"

Thank you so very much for all the lovely birthday wishes! I had such a wonderful day with my husband who surprised me with a cake, a beautiful card, and a dozen red roses.

You will not believe AGAIN I have gotten a year younger. All year I have thought I was turning 54, and wouldn't you know ..... I am 53 today. I tell you there are some advantages to being clueless! Just look at the expression on Peanut Vendor Vernon's face. He looks a little wary about this craft room's mistress.

It truly is a three-ring circus here at Creative Breathing as I work to finish last minute crafts I am excited to show my sisters-in-law. They have never seen my craft room before.

It is late at night here in the Heart of Ohio as I make mental lists of all that I need to do in preparation of our wedding picnic on Saturday. It is such a funny thing to live with a man who is a flight attendant and is used to ordering scads of food. He will throw into our cart what I call "Airplane Food" such as shrimp cocktail and red curly lettuce for lining our food trays. "Hon! We're having hamburgers!" I say to him.

Don't even get me started on the breakfast he has planed for Sunday morning. "We don't need fruit trays! A few bananas will do!" Can you just hear us in the grocery store?

When Joe's Mom called me this evening to ask what I am bringing to the picnic, I replied, "Baked Beans". I was too embarrassed to mention all that my husband will be bringing.

Again, thank you for letting this Creative Breather pick herself up again and again.

Elizabeth, your sisters-in-law are going to be in awe over your craft room. They are in for a delight! My hubby would not have a clue about what to get in the grocery store. I think you better keep that guy of yours. I hope the picnic will be a wonderful day for everyone. What fun that you will get to be there with your sisters-in-law. I also hope TSG's mother-in-law will be a good one to her. You all have fun. I just have to mention the little seal...E, the talents you have always amaze me. It is just cute as can be. Have a a wonderful day!

Glasd you had a nice birthday, E!

I wish *I* was your sister in law so *I* could see your craft room! I don't show mine anymore. Only certain people appreciate it and if your SIL's don't appreciate yours, just laugh! Okay?

Sadly, I can no longer do the grocery shopping. My husband does it on his way home from work in the morning and it is often quite hilarious. Yesterday he was supposed to get rice krispies for me and he did, but he also brought home a 5 lb bag of rice. :) He said, "I looked in the cupboard and you still have an unopened bag of rice. Why did you want more?" I told him that I *didn't* want more and he asked "Well, then WHY did you have me get more?" (Hee-hee) So I told him "I didn't tell you to get MORE!" And he said, "Then why did I get it?! Rice, rice... what sounds like rice? Oh! Rice krispies!"

Ha-ha-ha-ha! I'm glad he and I can laugh at each other.

Well dear, I don't envy you your picnic. Be brave and strong- because you are!

I saw on facebook this morning that one of my boys is now engaged. Hmmm... (Boys!)

I turned 53 this year also. So funny, I have jokingly said I was 29 for so long that I actually have to think about how old I am. So don't feel bad, it's really better not to remember sometimes!!!

I am so glad you had a wonderful birthday!! Your hubby is defintely a keeper. Oh and let him show off his talents with putting on a meal and spoiling his TSG and his new son-in-law. I bet your sisters-in-laws will be thrilled beyond words to see the wonderful goodies in your craft room. I am so in love with the new members in the craft room!! The seal is just too cute!! I am amazed and so inspired by the wonderful characters that come alive in your craftroom. I would love to read a children's book about the adventures in your craftroom and all the parties they have. Have you ever thought about doing that??
I am also thrilled to hear that your craftroom shelves are so full again!! Please promise me that you will not get rid of your creations again!! It really is ok to love stuff and to have stuff, so do not kick yourself because you have your wonderful craftroom and the characters that you create.
Please, please, give us a treat and take more pictures of your craftroom to share with us. I would love to see it now that you have remade alot of the characters that you gave away.
Hugs and have a wonderful weekend. Just have FUN and I hope and pray that TSG's mother-in-law is as good to her as you and your hubby are to Joe!!
Hugs,
Lynn
