OMGosh! I have wanted forever to create characters inspired by vintage nursery items, and today just seemed to be the day they were ready to show themselves.
Using paper from an unfamiliar company to me, Paper Crate, the little nursery rattle kept calling to me he was ready to come to life.
I'm so glad he did! I love his little cone shaped hat.
I am so appreciative when someone shares a new line of paper with me; so I hope you will enjoy a peek at Paper Crate.
One line is called Little Boy Blue, the other Little Bo Peep.
These little characters are perfect for my craft room, but oh how sweet they would be made in pink and red, pale yellow and green, pink and blue ..... OMG I get carried away when cute is SO cute.

I am amazed at what you can do with a couple pieces of felt! Oh my gosh these couldn't be any cuter!! I love crate paper did you see their "Peppermint" collection due out soon? I also found a company called Simple Stories I had to add pieces from their "summer fresh" line to my "collection". As always, thanks for the pattern, I think I "need" a duck :) Elaine

I just had a dear friend come spend three days with me from Colorado and I showed her this line last night.....she has two sons like me and just went nuts!!!! You have brought out the essence of this line and theme!!!!! Don't you just adore it, I suppose you know there is also a complete line for little girls called Little Bo Peep!
