Seasonally Challenged

Are you someone who has a difficult time adjusting to the change of seasons? I certainly am as Indian Summer weather falls away leaving morning chill confusing my choice of clothes to wear for the day.

My body comfortable with the memory of it's lightweight summer wear resisting any new choices that now feels burdensome and strange.

It seems I am this way about my crafting as well. One last visit to warm weather crafting with a character that just could not wait until next year's summer sun.

Of course there had to be a whale among my Cape Cod Cuties. Don't you just love his spout of spouting water?  You can just catch his fluke over his left shoulder, that is if whales do have shoulders.

My little whale uses the same pattern as Louie the Lobster. This is one of my more simple patterns to make and can easily be completed in several hours.

And so until next season, these fair weather characters will winter within the doors of my wonderful Hoosier. I don't think there could be a Cuter Place to Be!

Well, dressed in warm weather wear, I am nearly ready to begin crafting all things wintry.

Whale uses this pattern as well, create fluke.

Two more beautiful friends to add to your family. So very cute. It is still very warm here in Texas, but the evenings get a little bit cooler. I'm pretty much ready for the colder weather, as this summer and autumn have been HOT! Have a wonderful new week, and look forward to seeing cold weather crafts appearing here soon...

If I were small enough, I'd crawl into the Hoosier cabinet & make fast friends with all of your cute creations! I think your Cape Cod sea creatures are adorable. I know what you mean about the weather. Here in Georgia, it was in the 40's when we woke & climbed to 90 by the afternoon. Talk about lots of clothing changes throughout the day. I'm ready for cool fall weather! Have a great week! Teresa

I am seasonally summer challenged. Ugh...the hot sticky sweaty weather that makes me cranky and miserable. I hang on because fall is just around the corner and I can always find a ray of sunshine in the heat of August. At least that never changes...smiles...Renee

It's going to dip down into the 30s this week in MI. I guess it's time to unpack mittens for the morning bus stop to Kindergarten and Junior High. I'm love your latest additions and dreamily thinking of summers ahead.
