Readying to Deck the Halls

Santa has got his eye on my craft room! He expects to see the shelves slowly fill with all things that bring a sparkle to his eye.

This year I have decided to use my Hallmark Christmas kitchen wares collection as the basis to add crafts as they are made. They are just so wonderful with my kitchen Hoosier. Vivian, Viv out on a Whim, asked if I lived in my craft room as she does. "Yes Vivian, there is a Santa Clause" !

A new cookie jar for me this year, Peppermint Perfect with it's cute blue cookie! The wonderful Christmas book was published by Old Navy and contains page after page of vintage Christmas goodness.

I absolutely love seeing again the ornaments I have collected over the years. New for this year is Diane's, Saturday Finds, Dixie Cup Christmas seen in the lower left. Be sure and catch her tutorial on turning bottle brush trees from green to pink.

My silverware drawer now holds greeting card inspiration.

My craft desk the place to find me!

I am so looking forward to the wonderful Christmas crafts that will soon be appearing in every craft room in this adored community. I will be waiting happily by to see every good thing!

I am SO ready to start decorating for Christmas, Elizabeth! I've never been this excited, this early in the game. My sister is lending me her silver tree, and only Shiny Brites will make it onto the tree. I can't wait to see what kinds of goodies will be coming out of your craft room this year!

I am ready, too, but I am containing myself and enjoying Fall and Thanksgiving. But, there's nothing wrong with getting the supplies ready and making your plans, is there? : )

We are way ready here E with our outside lights. So Far 6 trees have been decorated using tall ladders and gloves to keep our fingers working ! We have enough lights for two more and the garage. Since our days shorten we do lots of lights here in Homer Alaska. Your craft room looks wonderful with all your sweet vintage things.

My ex-husband used to tell me that our living room looked like Santa's Workshop during the holidays but he hadn't seen your house and I think the title belongs to you Elizabeth! Everything is so charming and cheerful and celebratory.

Happy happy holiday-ifying!

I can hardly wait for Christmas. I am trying to make myself wait to decorate until after Thanksgiving but I have already broken out the movies and music. :) Your craftroom is so cute and a joy to behold! Did you recently buy that book at Old Navy?

The cookie jar...the cookie Jar!!!!
I love that cookie jar!
Thanks for the shout out for my birdies..so sweet of you!
I like how they are tucked in their little cubby holes. I was just thinking today as I was taking down my Halloween "the urge" garland from my office window at work that E needs to inspire a Thanksgiving themed garland. No pressure--just thinking out loud..heehee. At least you were in my thoughts today;)
Looking forward to seeing yours and everyone's holiday theme creations and decorating.
Hugs,

Hi E~I love your Peppermint Perfect Cookie Jar. That looks like a real cookie cutter on top of the jar. Very Cute.
Because I don't have an email for you I'll respond here to your question about bracelet lengths. I can make a bracelet to whatever length the customer wants when I'm doing custom designs. The recent penguin twins and turkey designs were both a little over 8 inches in length for a 6.5 inch wrist. Some people like them snug some like them loose fitting. I just aim to please. I always suggest that a customer measure a bracelet that they like from end to end including the closure element and let me adjust for "fat beads" that might take up more space in figuring the length. I hope this answers your question and feel free to email me directly.
