Such a Happy Day!

I love the morning pattern of my husband and myself. My husband always downstairs first will call out as he hears me descending, "Well, there she is!" Kisses exchanged, pets fed, coffee brewing, the toaster toasting, an exchange of the day's agenda always given. "I'm in my craft room today." my most likely declaration.

My husband's response is always the same. "Well of course! Where else would you be?"

Oh my gosh am I a happily boring person. Content as grit in an oyster eager to reveal the pearl it will become. How thankful I am you allow me to share my treasures with you!

I will be keeping the above four Valentines, but I will be dividing 60 more just like these between my Bee Mine Ornament participants. Again, I can't express enough how grateful I am to have friends to share in my good fortune.

It was such fun trying to group together Valentines I hope each lady will enjoy. The above three cuties will go to Holly, Cotton Pickin Fun.

I'm sending a collection of cowboys and horses to Holly of Damita's Pretty Wrap, and she isn't even in my swap! I hope she will like them as I know she loves to ride.

I have plenty more Valentines to share in the coming days. I hope you will find one that suits your crafting needs. That always makes for a happy day, and today is Such a Happy Day!

  1. I love hearing about happy marriages. The internet, especially, is filled with stories and photos of weddings, but it's the relationships that are the real deal, and I love this glimpse of yours. :)

  18. Hey Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for your kindness. You have been such an awesome friend and getting to know you has been such a joy! The story about you and your husband's mornings just lighten my heart. My husband gets up way too early for us to share the morning together, except on Saturdays (which I usually let him sleep until 8:30am) and we have church on Sundays, so it's rush rush rush. I absolutely the girly Valentines! They are so cute! I love them! I don't have that many vintage Valentines. I just can't find them for sale here in my thrift stores. I guess people around here throw them out :( , same thing with vintage Christmas cards. Thank you for sharing the vintage cards on your blog.

I can't wait to finish my ornament and send it on to you. Have a wonderful happy day, Holly

  23. Eness!!

So good to hear from you too!
Yes, I hope to start blogging again. I miss everyone. It was something I looked forward to, but have turned into a hermit the past 4-5 months. Life just got too stressful - and then hearing all the horrible events on TV just dug the knife deeper.
Through lots of prayer, I'm finding my way back and the world is looking brighter. : )
Thanks so much for making me feel so good!
