It is the most beautiful sun shiny day here in the Heart of Ohio. The light through my craft room window is so cheerful. I just have to share with you a most favorite paper project that perhaps you will keep in mind the next time you are at your scrapbook store.
I have used October Afternoon's Holiday Style to make my wreath. (Most paper lines have a tag sheet) One tag sheet, three printed papers, one sticker sheet. A wire form can be found at Michaels or JoAnnes, 12".
Cut apart tags and back them on sturdy white card stock. (I have arranged same widths to make use of paper trimmer). Punch half of tags on right side, half on left side.
Gather together trims for your wreath such as buttons, punched snowflakes, mounted stickers from paper line, and punched tags to fill in spaces.
Designate where the "top" of your wreath will be. Use ribbon to tie card stock backed backed tags in graduating size, beginning with largest, to the wreath form. A dot of hot glue will help keep tags in place.
Tie stickers and print paper tags to any part of the wreath form still seen. Some tags can be added on top of others using Pop Dots.
Hot glue buttons or punched snowflakes to any print paper tags used.
A last step is to add silver glitter or tiny "diamonds" to catch the light.
Oh My Gosh! Tag by tag come together to create such a wonderful holiday keepsake.

How sweet, this is one of my favorite lines of paper! Unfortunately I never got this pad, boo-hoo! Marilyn
Hello Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us how to make this adoreable Christmas tag wreath! Your pieces of art always make me smile and I always leave your blog feeling a little bit happier when I leave your blog.
I would of course love to have the kit to creat the wreath with. We have no local scrapbook store in our area so if I want to purchase October afternoon products, I have to order online and paying the extra shipping charges.
I hope you have a wonderful afternoon grilling out with you daughter, sil, and the big white puppy!
Hugs,
Lynn from Life on the wienee ramch
Oh, what a Happy wreath!
This Christmas wreath is both pretty and cheerful.
Very pretty, Elizabeth, and I love it hanging at your window. The perfect colors for your craft room! Such a nice surprise visit today. Enjoy it!
Oh I LOVE this wreath idea! I often buy the tag sheets from paper collections I like and I can see several wreaths in my future. Off to Joann's for the wire wreath form.... maybe 2 or 3!
A-you're adorable
B- you're so beautiful!
I tried to figure this out last year and thought it was pop dots under the layers! This is so much easier and CUTER! You really should teach at the pricey scrapbook store you know!
Pick me! Pick me!
Elizabeth I love your wreath. I would love to have a set.
Hugs

Your wreath is adorable and I love the bright, happy October Afternoon tags, too. I will try to find them on line. I'm making a Back 2 School banner to hang in the office where I work and then I will do my friendship piece for you and Sandy. (So many interruptions these days) Anyway, I'm using lunch bags as my base...it's fun to work on and I'll post pictures when I'm finished.
Enjoy you impromptu picnic with the kids!
xoxo

Elizabeth, I have stalked and loved your blog from"afar" long enough. Your wreath is adorable and I would love to try my hand at it. You are still one of the most talented people I know. Thanks for sharing . Hope you enjoy your Kellye and Joe time. We will have to catch up. Miss you my friend. ~ Treesha
Wow, that is gorgeous! I can see using old C'mas cards and/or adapting it for use when the grandkids wanna create something.
How CUTE!! As usual, you never fail to inspire me to create. I need to make one of these!
I'm sure you have lots of friends that would like a set. You always have the best ideas! I worked on something for Fall today! What fun crafting for the holidays!
Hello E!
Very nice Christmas wreath! Thanks for sharing it with us. Now, I just need to remember how to do it when I make one! Thank goodness for blogs!
Warmly,
deb
I happen to have all that line of paper...I ordered it to embellish the paper mache letters I painted for neighbor gifts this Christmas. Each family will have their on "monogram." I love to make them something unique, but also see if I can do for about $5 to $6 per household. It's a fun creative exercise. Your wreath is such a fun and original use of scrapbooking supplies. Way to go!!! =D
What a fabulous idea. Love that line, too. I must definitely make one of these wreaths, as there are so many pretty Christmas paper lines out there. Funny, Pink Paislee is coming out with a new Christmas line called City Sidewalks...it will arrive in stores in October. It has a really nice vintage style to it, and is on my wish list...amongst so many others! Thanks for sharing this, E.

Cute, cute, cute! Adding a wire wreath to my increasingly long list of stuff to get a Michael's this week. I have a bunch of Halloween tags from K & Company and this would be perfect!

I am not really a paper crafter. I dabble a bit on occasion and am always impressed by the neatness and beauty of the paper tags and crafts I see on pages like yours. Looking at this project I think that I might actually be successful at creating something that fits my mental image. Thanks for sharing the instructions.
That wreath is all you! I love the paper choice, I don't think I have ever seen anything made with that paper, you should sell kits in your Shop, I bet a lot of gals would love your pre-cut goodies! Thank you for the sweet Hankies, I am working on your Christmas kitty... ox dear friend , Diane
