Elizabeth's Pink Flamingo

Now you know I don't usually go over-the-top kitsch, but how can you not when you are crafting with Pink Flamingos!

Print on full size copy paper.

I promise you he grows on you. He was just too tall on the box by himself and needed something. You know me and my "What's on hand" method of crafting. Seriously, I have nearly used an entire three yards of this thrift store ten cents star garland in my crafts!

I do adore his little box. Be on the look out for an old Atlas when you are out and about. Vintage map blue is the most heavenly shade!

IN OTHER PINK NEWS:

Just look at Vivian's, Viv Out On a Whim, Pink Flamingo pin cushion! Vivian loves crafting and holidays like no other. Her blog is an everyday must read for me because of her vivacious spirit for life. To quote Viv, "This is just too stink'n cute!"

My yard is bursting with Flamingo pink Lilys.

Please if you have a Flamingo to share, I would love to know. To me they are the Ambassadors of Kitsch, and I just love them!

First I want thank you SO much for the sweet and wonderful comment you left about my son on my blog. It meant SO much!! Second I love this! It reminds me of my mom. Before she became ill, she had a tropical party each Summer for her friends, with LOTS of flamingo themed items. I know she would have thought this was wonderful too!!

Oh my friend Beverly at Flamingo Toes would love this idea. So cute. You have so many good ideas. Can't believe you make things just from what you have on hand. Wow, I'm impressed.

There is something so lady like about a flamingo..the way they cross their legs..and how graceful they walk around. I love to watch them at the zoo!!
So cute your creativiness..always amazes me!!

Dang it Elizabeth. I just don't think I can take anymore. Everything is just so stinking cute. When you go into national sales can I be apart of your promotional team? You certainly are in a Florida state of mind.

These are both absolutely Cotton Pickin' Cute!!!!

Your flamingo is a hoot! Love his/her on neck and pearl legs! I've gotten behind here somehow...your mermaid tag is adorable and the gathered ribon really looks like water-very clever E! I'm glad my tags arrived and the salt & peppers were not harmed. when I saw them I giggled...hope you did, too. Did you find the flamingo postcartd in the box, too?
Hope you're getting some sun there...we're finally going to have 2 whole days of nice weather! Yay!

I never see a flamingo without thinking of my grandmother. When I was very young she had flamingo yard ornaments. Because of her, I love them!!

My lovely Mother-in-law loved flamingos. She had so many she didn't know what to do with them. She is no longer with us, but I know she would love your creation...

You never cease to amaze me with these little creatures that you make. Am totally digging the flamingo and loved the story about your brother eating for free....sounds like they had it all figured out.
