"Wish You Were Here" Tag Swap

Hello Dear Tag Swap Participants! This will be the official "Wish You Were Here" information post. Please feel free to post any questions that may come up during this next month, I will check frequently and answer in the comment section.

PARTICIPANTS and their STATES: PLEASE MAKE 17 TAGS IN ALL!

Kari - Arizona

Mica - Washington

Elizabeth - Florida

Paula Clare-Route 66 (How fun! Each card will be one of the different states she traveled through on her fun vacation. Be sure and take her tour!)

Vivian - New York

Betty - California

Sandy - Wisconsin

Jessie - California

Julie - California

Stevie - Pennsylvania

Joyce - Delaware

Christine - Michigan

Sue - Massachusetts

Tracy - Florida

Meri - SCOTLAND???? Meri LOVES Scotland!!! (Shhh, don't tell her it's not in the USA) Can't wait!

Cindy - Texas

Tamera - Maryland

INSTRUCTIONS:
The theme of this tag swap is inspired by the wonderful hand painted postcards of the past.

1. Cut one 4x6 white cardstock, pink edges.
2. SCRAP FLAT! Use your imagination to bring to life the destination you have chosen to share with us. Layering is wonderful and will give dimension! Be sure and include your STATE name in some way to identify where we wish we were!

3. Save back post card image to your desktop. Print 4x6 on plain copy paper. (Will need to be trimmed slightly) Decorate as you would like, again SCRAP FLAT!

4. Be sure and include your BLOG NAME and YOUR NAME!

Your tags must be to me by June 21st, the first day of summer! I will be bundling our post cards together including a little Flamingo and a vintage post card package.

I am truly excited that you are participating in this creative swap and look forward to seeing all of our cards together. (Boy are my address cards going to be such a help in keeping everything straight!)

Until then, I "Wish You Were Here!"

Hi E! I am SO excited about this swap...however, given all of my travels last summer, I am completely unable to pick A state...sooooooooooo, in typical over-the-top Paula Clare fashion, I would humbly request that my "state" can be "Route 66." I'm going to use photos of the quirky places along the way...and whatever state they happen to be in...well, that's the state I'm choosing (all will be different, so it will be a "roll of the dice" as to who gets what kitschy photo and state!

If this is okay, let me know...if not, please give me a better idea! I'm clueless!

Paula, This is the best idea ever! OMG how fun will this be! I can't wait to see all the kitschy places when they arrive at my home together! Thank you so much for lending your amazing creativity to our swap! You have made my day! Elizabeth

Whaddaya mean Scotland's not a State??? LOL

I really don't take many pictures when I travel around the different states, but when I was in the UK it was a whole different story.....I've been there 4 times and I've got hundreds of pictures..it's my home away from home!

Hugs,
Meri

Hi Elizabeth, I need some quiet time to sit and read through all your past posts that I've missed recently. I just love the look of everything. And your craft cupboard is perfect. I so need to get organized and beautified! Just can't seem to catch up on any one thing of late. Have a fabulous day! :) Tammy
