What a fun adventure this has been for me! I never gave Gnomes another thought until Paula Clare shared her amazing book of Gnome crafts. One peek began a stream of creativity for me that has not yet come to an end. I still have a few more things to add to Paula's Valentine's Box.
Paula has giveaways galore; so be sure to join in the fun!
I was as busy as a Gnome late into the night to finish my penny rug to share with you today. A bit of bright color for my kitchen table these gray days of January.
Earlier in the day I had such fun taking a Paper Break to work on my Rolodex about the life of my beloved craft desk.
It will be a time capsule of each month of crafting.
Truly I had such a cozy gray day Saturday in the middle of winter in the middle of Ohio.
Thank you so very much to all who take a moment of their day to touch my life with kind words! I am truly blessed! Elizabeth

Congrats to the big winner... What fun she shall have with the gnome. I'm seeing another goodie there that I collect too.... Is that vintage pyrex I see.
That Roledex is lovely, but is making me nervous. I remember the last time I saw it... icks... Take it slow now my friend.
Off to dye some more, yarn, have my drawing.... thank goodness, Scooter found a football game to watch and stay out of my hair this afternoon.
Another great post,

Congrats to the winner! Big sigh.... :) Elizabeth, When I see your paper crafting I just want to go crazy! I so love your work! EVERY piece is so cute! How about a littl tutorial on the pockets and the layering???? I have the 7 Gypsies holders....and I swear I am going to start on of these for my room with the first photos being how it looks now. By the way, what kind of camera do you use? Your photos are just wonderful, and so close to the goodies! IEven with my Macro on my little digital I can't get as close as you do...ends up fuzzy. I am buying a new camera and need some input please.....That wonderful little gnome rug is sure to brighten up your kitchen in a hurry! :)
You have the golden touch. Everything you make is beautiful.

E,
I just read your comment on my blog!!!! OMG!!!!! You won everything in the catalog every year??????? I think I might faint! What did you do with all of that stuff????? I really messed up one year and didn't buy that cute retro bluebird cookie jar they had....one of many things actaully I wanted. I am sooo sad they are done putting out a catalog, but I totally understand it. I hope they can hang on..... * years of free GBP....you were a lucky girl!!!! The quilt in the back of the photo of the dishdrainer is off of Brenda's blog... I am sure she will be happy to send you photos! I am goign to Wal-Mart and hopefully they still have that dishdrainer in red. I get 10% off of my purchases there ( except foor and liquor), one nice perk having Wayne work there....thanks for stopping by!
So Lucky Glitter and Grace!! You'll love your prize, Elizabeth makes the most amazing peg dolls!
Um, Elizabeth, what's Paula Clare's website address?
oops! Forgot to mention how much I ADORE your penny rug!!
Love Manda. xx
Elizabeth, you are an exceptionally generous person, and your crafts are impeccable. I truly do wish we all lived closer and were able to visit in person. Can you imagine the group you would inspire should we all be close enough??? Take care, and don't forget to vote at my site for an upcoming contest...again!
Hugs,
Meri
Dearest E,
HOW FUNNY my name was drawn...you are entirely TOO generous...I think I'm more excited about my valentine box than I was about anything at Christmas! Your little rolodex has become a favorite inspiration...I'm going to create an "old fashioned one" with the adorable card you sent me as a pattern.
Congrats to glitter and grace...and to everyone who gets to enjoy your incredible "eye candy!" You are an amazing, inspiring talent!
It's me again. Wanted to let you know I put a little Gnome post on my blog... I wasn't sure if you and Paula were doing a Mr Linky's, or something similar, with everyones gnome posts for the Gnome Party ??
That penny rug is so beautiful I gasped when I seen the picture of it all finished! Congratulations to the lucky winner! Twyla

Oh Me, Oh My! I am thrilled to be chosen as the winner of one of your gorgeous gnomes. You certainly are a most talented and generous lady. I agree that we like many of the same things...as I'm in heaven when I visit your confection of a blog. Now I'm going to be waiting anxiously for the mail.
